Faculty

Adrian Boyle is a Consultant Emergency Physician at Addenbrookes Hospital and a Honorary Visiting Senior Lecturer at Cambridge University. He has a Masters and Doctorate in Epidemiology from Cambridge University. He has been teaching critical appraisal for over 20 years. He was the RCEM learning lead author for the section. He is an associate editor of the Emergency Medicine Journal and the European Journal of Emergency Medicine.

Virginia Newcombe is an Honorary Consultant in Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine and is an Associate Professor of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. She has a Masters in Epidemiology and PhD. Virginia continues toperform research in traumatic brain injury funded by an Academy of Medical Sciences / The Health Foundation Clinician Scientist Fellowship based at the University of Cambridge.
